STARTING TIME	9:30 a.m.

START	Upper Whitefish Road. Runners and their fans are STRONGLY encouraged to take the shuttle to the Start, as parking will be nonexistent, and extra traffic on East Lakeshore puts our runners in danger!

DISTANCE	13.1 miles

LIMITED FIELD	The Two Bear Half Marathon is limited to the first 200 Runners who enter; runners must be 14 years of age or older, in good health, and well-trained. ALL RUNNERS MUST BE OFF THE COURSE BY 2:30 P.M.

ENTRY FEE	$70 (nonrefundable and nontransferable) On-line registration deadline is midnight, August 12, 2010. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked no later than August August 12, 2010. LATE ENTRY FEE	If you choose to register late, you may, but it will cost another $25, making the total $95. Late on-line registration deadline is midnight, September 10, 2010. Late mail-in registration must be postmarked no later than September 4, 2010.

CHARITY	The Two Bear Half Marathon is hosted by The Wave and is supported by its many sponsors. One hundred percent of race entry fees will be donated to The Wave Scholarship Fund.

THE COURSE	This is a Point-to-Point course, beginning on a dirt and gravel road for approximately 2 miles before joining the marathon course on East Lakeshore Drive. Miles 2 through 11 follow the north and east shores of Whitefish Lake to City Beach. You'll cruise the town of Whitefish for the remaining 1.5 miles, ending at The Wave.

AID STATIONS	Water and Hammer Nutrition Heed sports drink approximately every 2 miles; Hammer Gel and orange slices available at selected Aid Stations along the course. AWARDS	Ceremony to begin at approximately 1:00 p.m. at The Wave Top Female and Top Male overall Top Female and Top Male Masters (over 40 years of age) Other Awards presented 3 deep for both genders in 10-year age divisions

POST RACE CELEBRATION AT WAVE COMPLIMENTS OF WHITEFISH LAKE RESTARUANT IS FREE FOR RUNNERS; $5 for family and friends.
